SEEit Working Trust is committed to working collaboratively to innovate ways of working locally that can be scaled for impact.
We believe in:
-
mainstreaming the use of culture, creativity and the arts in sustainable development
-
using systems thinking for social change
-
connecting the mainstream and the marginalised
-
neighbourhood talent spotting and development
-
independence through enterprise
-
collaboration rather than competition
-
creatively using existing resources
-
investing in big ideas not big organisations
-
celebrating the ordinary because it's already extraordinary
-
using impact data to inform, support and influence policy agendas, service design and investment choice
We have four Strands:
-
Be Creative : We value culture, creativity and the arts and use cultural innovation for social change.
-
Be Enterprising : We believe in "independence through enterprise". We develop ways of working that enable innovative activity not easily accommodated by traditional models and frameworks.
-
Be Heard : Policy affects people so people should affect policy. We innovate community engagement, development, governance, support structures and ways of working to make this happen.
-
Be Visible : We champion inclusion, talent development, and collaboration between mainstream and marginalised, to create more visibility for the people we work with, the issues they face and the solutions we find together.
